Located in the legendary Clybourn Corridor, the Crobar Night Club in Chicago has been renovated, and its previous life as a gothic warehouse has ended.  Now, with pink and blue lighting accenting the glazed tile, exposed-stud walls, aluminum railing, and rock-retaining walls, this venue has reinvented cool.  Make an attempt to get into the glass-enclosed VIP area (boasting its own DJ booth, two bars, separate bathrooms, white tables, gray banquettes, and the title of “The Suite”), but regulars and celebrities get priority.  The VIP room can be reserved for private parties, and be sure to make reservations for main room tables.

Beware of lightweight, overpriced drinks, but look for great service at the Crobar Night Club in Chicago.  Different DJ’s spin each night – DJs Psycho Bitch and Teri Bristol on Saturday night, Felix Da Housecat with new electronic and disco crazes the first Friday of every month, and gay night (known as the “Glee Club”) on Sundays.  Special guest DJ’s are also a favorite attraction.

Dress code is casual, but dress as nice as you like – there are always those dressed to impress.  Parking can be found on the street, or use the valet service.  With well-known DJs and a heavy popularity among young singles, the revived Crobar Night Club in Chicago is sure to have a long, happy life in its resurrected state.
