A tribute to Northern Italy, the Tuscany Restaurant in Chicago is well known for its pasta.  You’ll find it located right in the midst of Little Italy, with a tradition of great Italian specialty dishes, several of which feature homemade pasta, such as the maccheroni ciprini (square-shaped pasta with brandy-basil cream sauce).  Also try the gourmet pizza baked in a wood-burning oven, or the veal, grilled to a tender, juicy perfection.

For lunch, try a Tuscany Salad, with mixed greens, provolone, hearts of palm, garbanzo beans, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes with bleu cheese vinaigrette (only $9.95).  Add a bowl of soup (Minestrone Toscano or Pasta e Fagioli – navy bean soup), for $4.50.  Find traditional Italian pasta dishes such as linguine in white or red clam sauce and ravioli stuffed with veal and parmesan cheese in a four cheese sauce.  If you are at the Tuscany Restaurant in Chicago and have a bigger appetite, try a meat dish for dinner, such as the roasted pork ribeye chops with roasted potatoes and peas in white wine sauce, or sautéed veal medallions with asparagus and pinot grigio gorgonzola sauce.
